We were just looking at candles for Autumn at Yankee Candle Co. today - nothing quite calling our names, but that pumpkin butter cream is dangerous!

Recent tragic events have taken away hope of inspiration for many of us. I grieve with you, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, for the innocent victims in the elementary school.
I'll keep this little light open for you today and always.

Ah, Ken. It is what it is. Our dusty ol' cabin out in the woods, a place to leave notes for a few like souls wandering the wilderness of the soul. There'll still be a lamp glowing somewhere if you find your way back.

Just back from a 10-day train ride to Los Angeles and back. The night light is still on in the corner.

I know it's been a bit, but I finally made the journey back out into the silent electronic wilderness to check the night lighs, and they seem to be working. Time to post something new if this place will let me.

The lights still work, but everything is covered by sheets.

Still peeking in, looks like a night light on over in the corner. (Good thing it's LED, won't burn out for years.) Key still under the mat...OK.

Stopped in to check the lights again, they still work, which is good. My online repository of poetry, www.lightverse.com - has been down hard for 5 months. I had around 1,750 poems posted there. Many may be lost forever - but quite a few are probably here in Mystic Muse. Elle, I miss your poetic company, and I am very grateful for this board still being around. If you see a candle glowing in the window, that's me in here copying my poetry to Open Office docs. ( www.OpenOffice.org - free office suite ) Dan |
