Nobody discoes anymore, do they? Back in the disco days, I would get drunk and silly in the tavern, and grab the back of a cigareete package wrapper, turn it inside out, and write on the top, "Official Anti-Disco League roster", then pass it around and everybody would sign some outrageous handle. I wish I had saved some of those scraps of paper as momentoes.
Then I'd pass around another roster called "Drunk Driver's League", but I couldn't get anybody to sign it.

Ken, that is a riot! Lol! I used to love doing disco, now I love doing it for exercise. Back then, it was for watching beautiful young ladies sway to the beat.

Stopped back to flip the switches, check the bulbs, make sure the water is turned off, no one hanging out alone and needing company.

Thanks for keeping the lights on, Dan. I've just come back from three week's camping. What was supposed to be sun and surf turned out to be a lot of mosquitoes and rain, and the ocean was colder than I would have preferred. What a rotten summer. Oh well........

Sorry to hear that, Ken. It's been a decent Summer here. I've taken to lifting weights three days a week and riding my 1975 Schwinn ten-speed two. ( 1975continental.blogspot.com) Perhaps you can recover some of the season yet, it's still here for a few weeks. |
