Reading by goblin glow, the spirits are wandering loose today, there at the front gates. Keep your candles guarded and shielded, your hurrican glass tight. Things can go bump at times like this, you know!

I'm thinking of Mom a bit, sitting here by candle light. It would've been her birthday yesterday. I think it would've been 66. She passed on in early 2003. It's hard to believe it's been almost seven years now.

I set a few candles on the dining room table, and a candle lantern out on the front porch. When you come home, you'll know your way and your welcome.

Dan,
Thanks for keeping the windows lit. I have been writing a short story, I hope to publish some here soon. I'm doing the first rough longhand, so I can't offer anything here yet.

Ken, I'll look forward to it. 'Elle was here a bit a couple of weeks ago, she should be back after the holidays. Keeping the nightlights on.

I had candles burning all night last night as I napped in the library chair, but now it's a bright and sunny Winter morning, and I'm off to celebrate a friend's birthday. See you when I return, wandering poets!

Time to get a little nap before work. Left a nightlight on in the entry foyer.

I just got my crystal ball back from the Whizzyrds' Fix-it Shoppe, but I still can't see when all of you will come home for a visit.

I was just too tied up in February - but I found the light's still glowing, thankfully.

A little starlight and soft memories can keep me company, and the footlights by the door.

It's been a long, long week. How nice it was to come back here and find the light switch still works.

Dan,
I see it burning brightly, a beacon to call all wayward poets home to the hearth. May our fellow poets of yore see it as well, and join us to rekindle the flame that once warmed our hearts here at Mystic Muse.

I think I'll turn on the disco ball in the game room.
