Daemona, this is so darkly beautiful and almost painful. I can feel the sadness and sense of isolation.
Anyone who has ever felt a sense of longing for something - or someone - has lain awake at night and felt these things. The wanting, the sense of loneliness and hopelessness ... very emotional.
