In Limbo~
The line of reality washes away sands bordering ocean shoreline succeeding only in further deterioration the feeling made more concrete that we are on the brink of something much larger, not yet chrystallized my mind visits foreign lands, previously unconsidered my soul resides in limbo, wanting to trust again those things I took for granted I cannot hate my brother, but I fear Cain's rage is washing away my shoreline.
I walk the distorted edge of madness wanting to know the answers, but discover none.

An older poem. I don't think I have posted it here before.

I don't recall reading it before, not reven on the old site. Somehow it seems totally appropriate on the level of current events but also evokes a much more personal past event. The one thing that comes through the strongest is how you made sure to analyze your feelings and the basic good nature of the one who was wronged and still mostly forgiving. It brought light to a dark subject, 'Elle.

Dan,
I wrote this a couple of weeks after 9-11. It still means a lot to me to read it, and it is still relevant to where we are in the world today, a few years later.
Thank you for reading & for getting it.
