I've got a heart crafted out of papier-mâché, molded and re-glued back into shape after countless bouts of -breaking- -aching- fragile is the word that comes to mind when you see it thumping inside my chest. be careful with it my dear, it's prone to vulnerable states, but it's a good heart none-the-less, maybe a little battered, maybe a little bruised, but in between its cracked papier-mâché shell, i'll let you slip on in as long as you fill it whole, make it strong -sturdy- as long as it's not so fragile anymore.

I really like this, Solace~ the image of paper mache and it's intricacies.. it works very well as this metaphor. I love to read your poems, you have a special way of conveying & expressing.

Convey's well the vulnerability that comes with love.. and yet despite being repaired again, again, the hope that it will become whole and strong.

Very nice, Solace. It's a strong heart that can still hope and trust.
