two hearts damaged walk under a dark starless sky taking one step at a time on stretching sidewalk no one says a word there's a calm silence only sounds are the tread of shoe against pavement, and the rustle of traffic going by. two hearts damaged dont have a destination tonight they walk side by side on the same path silent and numb everything's been said nothing more could be done enough heartache filled the air and flooded the eyes of one damaged heart. the two hearts damaged walked far until they finally reached a point where they were forced to go their seperate ways, on two different paths, then the dark starless sky lightened and it became, a brand new day.

Have I said how much I love your poems Solace?? How much lonlier is that night you describe than even being alone.
If I could, I'd reach through the wire and give you a hug.

How I relate... sometimes there is no coming back from the hurt... reconciling with someone that could hurt you so. Yes, I love your poems, too. They speak to me.
