I build a bridge to you upon these flimsy words that cannot show the depth or colors of my thoughts.
I stretch to you these hands that beat with my red blood and clasp you to my breast to meld your flesh to mine
We share a fleeting moment a time a place a feeling beyond the pale of words to say we're not alone and our lives have meaning
Ken
A paradox ... didn't the BeeGees (shudder) say,.. "They're only words, and words are all I have, to take your heart away"? They were right, I feel.

Very, very nice, Ken ...
Isn't it amazing (and @#$! frustrating for a writer) when even your best efforts with words come nowhere near what you feel deep down inside? We should all be fortunate enough to experience that depth of feeling at least once in our lives ...

I've struggled with this as well.. put the words down on paper and told myself it wasn't enough.
Enjoyed it Ken!
