You Reached to Me
You have no idea how much I miss you Thoughts of you pervade my mind like the driven rain
Though we’ve never met, I see you standing perfect before me Bringing smiles to my face, joy to my heart
You reached to me and brought me back from the brink when I barely realized I was on the edge because you had been in the dark abyss
You stand beyond the brink still afraid now to take my hand fearing you’ll pull me in fearing life beyond the familiar abyss
If you only knew that as long as you hold my hand the strength in me cannot be matched by any force on this earth
As long as you hold my hand I WILL bring you back from the brink I will hold you to me, and shelter you So that you may look beyond and see the beauty in the world and see your own beauty reflected within it.

I love the HOPE here.. the inspiration, the determination. A tenacity that shines with love. A triumphant & graceful write.

Thanks sooooo much everyone!! This is one of those that just came to me.. I was up late last night.. a little melancholy.. a little introspective and the words just flowed like Solace told me they sometimes do for her.
Elle.... thanks for your suggestions on my "help" post. Doing haiku, and then using a thesaurus has really helped my imagery.
Daemona.. LOVE to see new faces.. because it means new perspectives.. and new poetry and prose.
