I know I’m in your thoughts just like you’re in mine wherever you are.
It’s all right this way. We need not own each other.
Some would say our time together ended long ago
but Time is just an illusion, that makes us grasp at shadows, mourn what has passed, and dread the darkness to come. I have shucked the straitjacket of Time.
We had each other then. We have each other now, even apart. I still have your happiness to brighten my days, and look to the future with hope and awe.

A great testiment to romance and how we are touched forever by special people in our lives-- even if the physical presence is gone. Spirit and love can shine in the soul for eternity. I dig these two poems of yours- assuming they are both about the same special person. Lovely and endearing.
