Lather, Rinse, Repeat:
I can trust you about as far as you can throw me. The days grow longer but my patience is growing short. The day we ment I wore my heart on my sleeve, which was an honest mistake. Months later you threw the shirt in the washer on spin cycle...lather, rinse, repeat as needed.
Were you sincere when you told me I was the only one? Funny how that girl I saw you with at the bar turned out to be the sister I never knew you had... Silly me. Oh hell, oh well, I'm gonna move on with the brighter days, and sunshine rays, and soak up the sun.
I never needed you that much anyway.

Oh, how I know this pain!!! Damn, this makes me mad for you.... the lovely & true always get taken for a ride, why is that? When the only thing in the world we want is someone as faithful & true as we. I feel for you. Great piece of expression. Highly relatable & painstakingly real. Keep on, my dear... there is a world of love out there!!
Ps: not that it's significant, but there's a typo in line 3, I think it is.. met? Again, a gutwrenching experience captured.

As someone once told ME... ;D One of the most amazing things about love is that it's impossible to experience it without opening yourself up to hurt. I hope this was an old experience.. if not.. HUGE hugs Solace.
