I hope this is meant in fun, because my entry is LAME!
Frost curls in paisleys that rise from snow-capped sills on the window-panes.
Beloved parents cherish the warmth of their bountiful families. Even the golden-agers spruce up and wear their diamonds on their fingers like berries on branches.

WHAT is lame about that? It IS meant to be FUN!!! But, yours certainly isn't lame. I enjoyed it. It's meant as an excercise to express the emotion that comes with Holiday time. You did just that, Ken!

Sparkle
The season is golden; magical. Outside the warmth of the cottage, the frost shone like a diamond dust, across snow-capped berries and Spruce trees, mirroring the cherishment in her heart for her beloved, the sparkle of her spirit.

Lady Winter descends from snow-capped peaks, adorned in a sparkling cloak of frost-diamonds
the land shivers at her arrival as animals seek the warmth of their woody dens, and berries, once bountiful, begin to fade and wither
Outside a fire-lit cabin spruce stand watch, illuminated by the golden glow from within, while two lovers nestled inside cherish each other, tenderly and beloved.
