Homeless Into each life some rain must fall that’s all right if you have a home. I own no floor no roof nor wall. I find my shelter as I roam. Last night I slept beneath a tree beside the trail and out of sight. Its branches could not cover me when the rain came down last night. When you see me on the street a beggar clad in shabby clothes please toss a coin at my cold feet before you turn and hold your nose. Ken

This is more common than people know! AND SO SAD!! This is powerful, the combination of image and words make a strong point and made me think of these roamers especially since the weather is turning cold.

Thanks for your comment, Elle.
I took this picture in the summer, and it was obvious at the scene what had happened. I enjoy sharing the image that inspired me to write this poem. Sometimes my photos help me compose too.

It is very sad to think about. Summer, Fall, Winter, or Spring... EVERY PERSON deserves a HOME of their own. I used the sad smiley face up there, but it doesn't work. I, too have used photographs to inspire other art mediums.. Poetry & Drawings.... I like transferring them, I view it as a very pure expression, as all come from the same source so interpretation is not varied. Individually, & Together, this makes a strong connection.
