illinois-trails.blogspot.com/This blog has the full complement of stills I took as we were walking down the Fox River Trail in North Aurora. Click on any image in the blog to bring up the full 4-megapixel still. I'm going back in a minute to embed the Youtube videos into a fresh blog post. Dan

The sun is poised to pierce the last veils of night, and sends forth a pillar of pure light to illuminate the soft clouds of dawn. Soon this moment of promise and inspiration will burst apart in a blazing shimmer as the edge of the disc erupts on the ocean's breast, but not yet, not yet. Ken

Geez, Ken you should be making calendars and postcards, NO DOUBT! Add your beautiful Haiku and Naturistic poems to these, your in business. What talent you have for Seeing NATURE in a special way. It's very pure. The first shot with the bird is absolutely breathtaking... they all are. STUNNING photography. You've got the eye, my friend!! I love being able to see your work in this visual way.

Thank you Elle, you're very kind. I can't resist posting another picture I took two nights ago near my home on the Saint John River. I was down to my last pulse of batterry in my camera and the sunset was fading fast, when I saw a canoe was coming into view. So I took this picture: Ken

Thank you for your kind comments. I'm going to close this thread with one last shot to remind us of summer. This was taken from a park bench near my home in August 2007. Ken
