i like the colors in it...this shiny yellow and the blue sky shining through! Now that is something to carry in your timer to look at at rainy days!

Black-eyed Susans! I drove Interstate 95 all the way west through Maine first week of August and the roadsides were blanketed in them. They are my wife's favorite flower, and we still have the cultivated ones in our garden now, end of September .... though this far north, the wind will blow away their petals very soon.
I have written poems about fields of flowers ... maybe I'll write another one after seeing this photo.

I'm glad you all like this photo, it's one of my favorites. I painted an oil pastel of this photo, it hangs in my living room. I should frame the original photograph right next to it.
