The flower is such a vibrant deep color. Really striking! And isn't it ironic that a flower so beautiful is actually a parasite? It floored me when I found out orchids were parasites though that piece of info also inspired one of my best poems.  Miranda |

Yes! Orchids feel on the molds under deep forest trees in nature. amazing, indeed!! I love orchids. Have you heard of a "pink slipper" orchid? Some of these flowers are valued at incredible amounts of money they are endangered! I saw a special on "orchid" smugglers.
