The Mystic Muse Spring newsletter will be out the week of March 21st~ Make sure to be on the lookout for poems that stand out and nominate for this upcoming edition~ we have a forum dedicated to this purpose  Thanks to all members for your participation! Also, anyone interested in writing articles for the Mystic Muse newsletter, please contact me! I would like to start including interviews with featured members, social commentary editorials, and much more in the newsletter. Eventually to have a small staff of contributing writers and a super classy online zine. ! |

Elle... I'd like to contribute an article, thought piece, or commentary at some point. I have NO idea about what yet... but I know I would write it best if it was something I cared about....hmmm... any ideas?

First, I just read the Spring newsletter - absolutely great! I was pleased to get to know Caro better - her responses help put the person into the poetry. I had no idea you are from Germany, Caro. That says a great deal about your command of the English language as used in the U.S. if it is a second language for you. I especially loved the way you said you started writing because a gift given with love should be used. It came through in a double sense, because while the diary was the obvious gift, your talent for writing is also a gift from another source, so in that sense it also should be used. I hope you can find that perfume...ebay?
Second, I'd like to write for the newsletter but I am afraid that I might go political. Such issues have been at the forefront of my mind for the past few years, and that's probably enough said right now.
Rachelle, I think you're doing a great job with this. I hope it becomes a bigger success each time.

Some of the ideas that I had were a Music column... up & coming, what's hot, awesome lyrics, etc. Maybe feature a musician's bio with lyric or something?
I think we should stay away from being too politically minded- but, at the same time, the issues, if written about fairly, would make a great feature. (global warming, for instance would be a topic I like to learn as much as I can about) Maybe Dan, you could lend your writing and expertise in an area like "Issues of Interest" you could pick issues that affect us all and give us some insight into them.?
The exposure and recognition for the writers and members through the newsletter is a neat perk that I want to expand upon.
You guys are wonderful- keep up the think tank & go for it!

again the newsletter was very enjoyable...there was not one poem i did not enjoy reading :-) and thanks for the nice comment Dan, i´m pleased if you liked to read and didn´t sleep in from boredom  and yes english is not my mothertongue..and yes i tried ebay...but no luck so far  but well one should never stop hoping right? |

I loved this Spring's newsletter! It contained great poetry as always as well as such a neat read! I loved the interview portion! It's great to be able to get to know our members here at mystic muse a little bit better! |
