So, do you show your poetry to your significant other?

Not often--- sometimes he'll ask me about this or that, if he comes across something on a napkin or scratch paper... I am notoriously writing on whatever is available in the moment. I've rarely offered it up. Particular pieces, maybe.. published or ones specifically about him, some... lol. Do you, Ken?

Elle, how naughty of you to call me out!
Well, she helped me with my water poems. I once gave her a poem, in 2000 for Christmas. It was kind of awkward, because all her family was there when she opened it. But it hangs on our bedroom wall now. What more can a starving poet ask for?
Other than that, no, I don't show her any of my poems. I don't think they would be her cuppa tea. She used to write, but not much now. I found one poem she wrote long ago one day. I remember it was cool, but I can't find it again, it's on a piece of paper in a book somewhere in the house.
You still with me? No, I only share my poetry over the Net. If anyone wants to read it, they can find me. If I tell my friends that I write poetry, I blush and they scoff.
Ken
