It's been a couple of months since I last stopped in. I think that I might be the last poet to stop by here with any regularity. It's like my own private little ghost town. Not inappropriate, as I live in the desert now, technically. I miss a lot of the poets who used to come here. I wonder what happened to you all. I think as far as I can tell that Rachelle was last in here around 2013. Ken was here maybe as late as 2014, and I think Poet of Serendipity was by maybe last year. I know it's silly, but I've been doing poetry online since about 1999 or 2000. I've always had this idea that it would be fun to get all the internet poets from all the forums together in a big conference somewhere. Kind of like a bloggers' convention, but for poetry. I doubt that will ever happen. At least three poets I've known over the years on the web have died. Ivor,(Poetic Piers) Christine,(Talith Ruatha) and P.G. Smith (Hope Smith). Much of Christine & Ivor's poetry remains online these days. However, I'm not sure about Hope. Most of her poetry was published at www.lightverse.com - which has been down for nearly two years now. I was able to save a copy of Hope's personal home page, and one email of one of her poems. (Hope was from Perth, AU, and passed away in 2011) These poets will live on in my mind as long as I'm alive. Trying to find the time to back up their work though is very difficult. Still, I will try to save what I can. Dan
