Hi everyone  I'm sorry that I've been away for so long, but I never forgot about any of you. To be honest, I had some personal issues to deal with - finding out, or maybe just admitting to, a long-time case of mild-to-moderate despression, among them. I won't go into the boring details, but things feel better now. I'll try and catch up with the postings and the newer folks who've arrived in the last few months. Looks like there's some interesting stuff! I'm really glad you guys are still around. Let's get back to it! |

Nice to see you again. Be assured that we understand & that has always been one of the beautiful things about this community- it's here for everyone when they want it to be, have time for it or need to find comfort in artistic outlet.
I personally understand depression very well, most here know that I myself suffer/ struggle with deep bouts of depression.
I hope you have been writing!!
I look forward to having you around again and reading anything you would like to share.

Thanks so much, Elle. I'm sorry to learn that you understand the "D" as well as you do. But your encouragement means a lot. Hope you're well, too. It's funny, I had to dig out my old user name and password to get in, but when I finally did and saw the site and all your names again, it felt really good - comfortable. All of you are responsible for that nice feeling  Haven't been really writing much in my absence...just tinkering and such. But just being back is an inspiration. My fascination with poetry remains, and I've still got Arkan and that bunch from Intercessor in my head - don't think they'll ever leave, so I might as well keep writing about them, huh? Hey David.. I'm one of those newbies you mentioned, but I'd like to welcome you back!! I've read some of your posts.. and you are always upbeat. Just want you to know for NEXT time that black hole threatens to swallow you, that at least from THIS view.. I see a sensitive soul with a lot to give the world!

That's awfully nice, Poet. Thanks for the very kind words. Got some things I'm trying to polish up a bit, and will probably post them in a day or two. I seem to be more into fiddling with poetry than furthering the adventures of Arkan and the bunch in Intercessor ... |
