Elle:
I am currently enjoying David Wilcox. he sings the bues, not the cry-in-your-beer blues, but feel-good show blues.
When I'm driving with my son to karate, he we listen to his music ... KMFDM, raspy hard-metal rock. I don't find it all that enjoyable, but I guess I'm a little past that scene. However, I don't mind his other music, Ramstein. It hangs together a bit better, although it tends toward gloom.

That runs quite the gammit, Ken! I would say you are musically adept! I enjoy every genre of music, and even the hardcore stuff can surprise you! Incubus, Evanessence... My favorite genres are classic rock, (Fleetwood Mac, Beatles) classic and modern jazz (Billi Holiday to Nora Jones) and modern alternative rock like the ones I mentioned. I love the band coldplay! Sheryl Crow, Michelle Branch. I love women performrs, also men.. but I relate more to the women.

I love just about EVERY kind of music (except RAP...and even that if it's not JUST a beat and talking). Country.. (the newer stuff) is my current favorite (Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, lonestar). I grew up on "classic rock" and have always like the "oldies" (my sister grew up with that). I terrible with remembering names of artists and song names... but I can sing along to countless songs.. lol.. strange memory!! (i had to go back to my ipod to get the names of the artists!.. lol)

Does anyone know who does this song..... "and life's like an hourglass glued to the table and no one can find the rewind button, girl.. so cradle your head in my hands.... and breathe... just breathe.... breathe .. just breathe"
anyway, I love her voice & I love that song!

For a funky change-up, I borrowed my son's Black-eyed peas cd. You can'r help but to dance when they're on. I saw them years ago in Chicago. I like Fergie's voice, too. She's got a cool style, kind of reminds me of Gwen Stefani, whom I've always liked alot.
