A Beautiful Anachronism...I hear it's a renaissance of sorts, A remedy for the demons of digitality, Something of beauty, Tactile and graceful, With soft clicks and clacks and bells, Character and individuality, History and charm, A tinkerers' dream, Free of spies eyes, If you can find the postage, And perchance an old fellow, Someone with nimble fingers and a love of old machines. I drool ink every time I think of it, Swearing that someday soon, I will turn out pages instead of documents, feel and hold beautiful paper, Soft and dreamy yellow-white between my fingers, Feel the force of keys driving letters into the page.Just you wait, Old Man, Just you wait...
