Surfing The Long Road...youtu.be/kkviQ41u0eQI could ride the wind, My heart free, My feet in perfect balance, Sheer joy becomes the moment, Child-like, There is nothing else to consume me, I am, I exist, In perfect motion and grace, A luxuriant happy flash. AquarianM (C) 01/16/2013 By: Daniel A. Stafford Author's Comments I've discovered longboarding in the past couple of months, bought a deck, saving for the trucks, bearings, wheels, gloves. I'm going to ease into cruising this Spring, an alternative to bicycling and another source of joyful exercise to follow my motto for aging well: "Keep moving, for any motion you forego is one you'll lose in time."

Thanks Dan, watched the video and enjoyed mucho. Looks fun, risky too, can't help wondering about oncoming traffic...

Thank you, Ken. I gather most people doing these downhill runs have a spotter and sometimes go to organized events for it. I would never try something like that alone, even if I would try something like that. I'm more interested personally in learning to "dance the board."
