The New Chicago Bakery...It's Fourth-of-July week and 105, A tie for the all-time record, All week long, Three thousand high-temperature records nationally in one week, Chicago is baking and frying and cooking and boiling, Amidst all the steam in the suburbs and blown air-conditioners, I ask my favorite Facebook non-believers the one true question; Global WHAT?? Global WHAT?? Where, or where is that snowman in DC now, And how long can Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, the Carolinas, and the Virginias, Keep treading water, While our bicycles hang in garages and get dusty in basements, Maybe we could fuel this boiling nation on the results of liposuction, But wear shoes if you dance in the burning streets, Do the "Frying Egg" to Disco Inferno. You KNOW what I'm talkin' 'bout, Willis. AquarianM By: Daniel A. Stafford (C) 07/07/2012

I feel sorry for all you folks frying in the heat wave. It's been hot here in Atlantic Canada too, but not sweltering like farther down the seaboard and inland. We've been blessed with afternoon and evening rains that cool us off. Hang in there!
