Pieces
People are shaken up,
it's breaking them up,
we're all just pieces
of the whole.
The Man is firing down,
it's all around,
and it's all
costing quite the toll.
We pay them for our water,
we pay them for our air,
we pay with our souls,
and all that we hold dear.
Can't come up for breath,
do not stop; 'else you'll die,
do not ever pause
to question The why.
What does this "system" do?
But make a sheep
out of you
and an ant out of me?
What to it
do you contribute;
your life, health,
reason & sanity?.....
