Lets discuss some things in here. Starting with HOW IS EVERYONE? Get me up to speed with what everyone is busy doing these days, whats going on, what are you writing about, etc.

Eyeyeye! Where to start? I'm still working on sax & also learning guitar. Writing a little poetry here and there, of course. I have a series of novels I'm working on, I have three of them in progress now. They involve Atlantis, vampires, and eventually, modern America with a very unique twist no one will expect. I did a lot of reading earlier this summer, but now it's time I finally got a full-length novel out, so I'm spending most Saturdays on it.
Saren is doing well, so is her Dad. We ended up moving into his 2BR condo after we lost the house, but he was laid up physically and needed the help. It makes sense anyway, he's 83 and Saren has no siblings, so we'd be there eventually. This way, he has company and help. The great news is that he and I get along really well. He did kinda freak when I bought the guitar - until he figured out that the amp had a headphone jack on it! Lol
Right now, Saren & I are both walking two miles every morning after I get home trying to beat the bulge, so to speak.
My son Justin is kind of wandering around "finding himself." He just turned 20 in June. I'm thinking I'm going to get a lot smarter in the next three to five years...lol.

Hey Elle, thanks for asking. I've been pretty busy lately. I too, tried my hand at a novel, but all I had in me is a short story ... but it was fun. You can read it at www.nanookofthenashwaak.com/langton/dlady/chapter01.htm if you like, it's a little on the violent side tho.... I just earned my assistant instructor certificate in karate this spring at the tender age of 59, so I'm pretty proud of that. It shows that if you stick with it long enough, you can succeed at just about anything. and I went on my first overnight solo canoe trip last month. It was fun, although a lot of hard work. So next week my wife and I are going on a six-week road trip, across Canada to British Columbia, then back through the States. We'll be tenting almost every night. Should be a blast. We don't plan on driving more than six hours a day, on the back roads ony (no interstates), and we'll be taking time each day to see the sights. So you won't hear from me for a while, but I will be back in late September. How's your ankle, Dan? Good to hear you're walking every day. It's good for the soul. Ken

Ken, the trip sounds like a lot of fun. The ankle is way better, almost back to normal. I still have to get a couple of screws removed, but I'm waiting until January so I can take two weeks off to do it. I put ten miles on it one day in may, it held up fine. Thanks for asking.
