I stood upon the shore of the ocean as thunder roared and lightning flashed. I saw worlds and galaxies plummet into the foaming waves to be extinquished forever. The waters rose up and covered all the cities of the world, The Angel of the Deep arose with a face of flame and strode across the lands of the Earth, smiting the mountains with his flail and hewing the forests with his sword. Fire went before him and fire followed after him and a great scalding vapour arose from the meeting of the flames and the sea and all the remaining stars were obscured. The moon itself fell into the ocean, destroying most of what was left of life on the planet. The sun turned a dull red and then became a small black star that collapsed upon itself and vanished. Men and women were as living torchs of flesh - running, screaming, weeping, burning. I saw Your face etched upon the Heavens before I turned my back and fled in terror from Your pure and raging Beauty.

Sounds like Ragnarok meeting Armageddon at the Restaurant At The End Of The Universe. It's not the answer, it's the journey. Reminds me of an old one of mine, which I'll post. Epic in very few lines.
