Baby Isabella Soleil is here!

Baby Isabella Soleil arrived with a gusto on August 26th!
We were scheduled for an induction that Friday, but we didnt make it! I awoke with contractions on that Tuesday, in the middle of night, about 2 hours into it, I finally was able to wake my husband, whom kept kind of putting me off, LOL we had quite the past month with contractions and false alarms, I think we both had it in our heads that she was going to be coming that Friday, we left the house with contractions at 4 minutes apart, when my Doctor calls to tell us that the hospital we were en route to had no available beds, and redirected us to a hospoital way across town, by the time we got there, I was dilated to 9 & couldn't have any pain meds Isabella was born just 15 minutes after arriving at the hospital!! Quite the story we will have to share with her one day! She weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. She is beautiful, dark hair with blue eyes.
As you can imagine, this initial settling in is time consuming, I will check back in as I can! We are all doing wonderful.

Oh, you guys.. she is now almost 2!!! WOW. Seems like it takes about that to get them somewhat less dependent She is my Angel.. she has long, blond, curly hair and the most blue eyes. She is truly a doll.

And I bet that's only a little bit proud mom speaking and a lot true! Lol. You sound very happy with her, it sounds quite nice.
