not sure i know where you speak of, but anywhere there are children suffering is awful!!!
my first thought was china, but they are so secretive that i'm not sure that is where u mean.
this made me think of their 'law' of 1 child per family, which leads families to give little girls away or kill them, beacause boys are so much more valued in their society, in terms of bringing money in for family. there or somewhere else,the suffering of the future, children who will be the next generation, a link in humankind...it's heart breaking.

i think more about this, and sadly,there are many places that exist with no respect for children whatsoever. north korea is also a possibilty of this.Sad...
