Hi, again, Dyna! I just checked out your homepage... I like to learn about the creative people that frequent Mystic. Bettas and bunnies-- neat! Did you do the betta graphic there & in what medium? It's neat! The bunnies are adorable. The bettas are fascinating. I look forward to getting to know you and your interests better.

Hi Elle,
Ummm which betta graphics? There are a lot of them. A few I did, most by others.
Thanks for the welcome. I'll post some of my work when I get a bit more comfortable.

Hey, again, Dyna. the Betta graphic I was looking at is the one on the first page of your homepage, it's green and has the two males facing one another. Looks kinda like it could be pen & ink, and if so, done by a talented hand. I just thought it was neat. Enjoy getting to know us & this forum, it's nice to have you

TEXT TEXT Hi! I tried to log on about a month back, but my computer crashed...and burned...we now have a new Dell and I'm hoping I can get online again. : I'm grouchy. I'm 34 and from central Illinois. I've been writing for 27 years-I'm not really a poet, though that's mainly what I've been writing for the past 10 months. I also have a completed novel collecting dust, several short stories and a couple of published articles. I started a writers' group 2 1/2 years ago called Wordsmiths by Night-we meet weekly at a local Border's Books. I also belong to 3 other writers' groups. Other than writing, I learned I also love art! I've been doing some paper art with collage, colored pencil and pen & ink since the beginning of the year. I've also been a runner for 24 years. I'm currently training for the 2005 Memphis to Tennessee Run for St. Jude. I've been doing yoga for 17 years-hatha yoga and I am still a beginner. Just haven't been as dedicated as I should be and I have the back problems to show for it! I have been battling with weight for the past 4 years and I am not having fun with that battle. I love to cook, and unfortunately I REALLY love to eat! I've been married for 6 years-this is my 2nd marriage. I have a 13 1/2 year old from my previous marriage. We homeschool her and she is a semi-pro singer-mainly jazz. She's involved in local choirs-including a show choir for kids, theater (she just landed her first leading role in Hello, Dolly!), band & solo singing expeditions. She is also a superb artist. She and I will be illustrating a poetry book that I plan to self-publish. Initially I was going to go the POD route, but it was too expensive with too many restrictions. Now I'm envisioning a coffee-table type book with original illustrations. She works primarily in pastels and colored pencil. I've rambled enough. Looking forward to meeting all of you! ~grouchy

Hi Elle! I can't seem to get my link here to work to the postpoems site...know what might be preventing me from getting there? I checked my profile, and it all looks ok...ugggh. I feel new and sluggish and out of place still here. Can't get the fonts to work well either-so I'm typing in plain text. I CAN get the smileys to work though! lol How have you been? How's Noah & family? Gosh-as far as Lil Grouch's schedule-I'd almost need to send you our calendar. Maybe you can see her in Hello, Dolly though! It's a Morton Players production and runs in August. My group always meets at 6:30 too at the Borders at the Shoppes. I'm not always able to be there, but I told them about you & that maybe you could speak to the group after August-they are pumped to meet you!! My daughter will also be at the Relay for Life in Bartonville (cuz that's where we live-close to it anyway!!) on June 4th at 2:00 PM. I'll be running! Or run/walking! Have a great day! Hugs, grouchy

I REALLY look forward to getting out to a meeting! Noah & family are great. Boys are out for break, of course. I'm sure yours is excited about Summer, too. I'm trying to come up with plenty of things to keep them busy & out of trouble...lol! Sorry you aren't having luck with the features. Maybe try adjusting your settings to allow cookies and such? I'm not sure what the difficulty could be there? If I can be of help, let me know! I've written a touch, hopefully will find some time to catch up on some reading and post a few. My email is about to change, I think we are going to switch our DSL to Cable. I'll let you know my new email addie when I get it. Take care~ hope to see ya soon.
