I'm sorry for questioning your integrity, it isn't all of your doing; many that I've loved and trusted the most in this world have deeply and forever wounded me.
Nothing rubs those scars such as obvious vulnerability, and I'm so weak for you, you see. It's a challenge, learning that to love and be loved, we must remain open and revealing, -our innermost selves-
We're all so mortal, we're all so vulnerable, we've all known trouble, and we've all hurt someone, somehow.

Isn't that the truth! Wonderful piece and very, very accurate and human.

We are most vulnerable when we open our hands and hearts to another. Yet that is when we need to be the strongest. And that's when we gamble all, in hopes of becoming complete.
Nice poem, Elle.

Sometimes what we need most in the world is the hardest to give. I'm learning. Thank you both for reading and appreciating!

You've been visiting my head again, haven't you Elle.
This is naked, raw truth, and I love it.

Glad I was able to write something that had some meaning to others, as well. Thank you, Manders, for letting me know.
